August 2 is Christ-Like Day — a day to show the world the love of Jesus in action.
The world celebrates all kinds of days—Pride Month, 4/20, Margarita Day. We’ve seen Resurrection Sunday turned into a fashion show and Christmas reduced to “Happy Holidays.” But August 2 is our day. A day to reflect what it truly means to be a follower of Christ.
Let’s reclaim the name Christian by living it out boldly and compassionately.
On this day, we challenge you to take your faith to the streets:
Serve at a retirement home.
Volunteer at a shelter or Boys & Girls Club.
Feed the hungry.
Buy someone’s lunch.
Fill up a stranger’s gas tank.
Pay for someone’s groceries.
Give a compliment.
Show kindness in any way you can.
